You’ve earned the right to have a career that’s full of purpose, passion and prosperity! If you believe this to be your truth then why have you allowed yourself to sit on the sidelines? Why is your voice not being heard? And, why have you accepted a career path that lacks meaning and fulfillment? The answer for some may be a simple matter of not knowing how or where to start. Be BOLD in your career and let your voice be heard!
1) Stretch your capacity. Take on assignments and/or additional responsibilities that allow for greater growth, exploration and new career possibilities.
2) Be uncomfortable. Push past your comfort zone. It’s okay to be uncomfortable. In fact, it’s okay for others to feel uncomfortable in your presence. Leaders thrive in discomfort!
3) Voice your vision. Be vocal about your goals. No one can achieve career success without the support of others. Every career conversation matters!
4) Get noticed. Create value through your performance and unleash your potential. Never sit on the sidelines, sit at the table!
Lastly, when in doubt ask yourself “Is my career a source of energy?” If not, it should be!
